...as we were putting Kay to bed she said to Marion, "Mama, I want to talk to you about something tomorrow." Marion says, "What do you want to talk about?". Kay, "About dying at home".

Trying to imagine what happens if you little girl says this to you... Lost for words. But the treatment is actually going very well so I want to hear no more of this!
ReplyDeleteThat really is heart breaking to read, let alone imagine. It is totally unfair and no parent should have to go through what you are going through. You have to keep fighting for yourself, Kay and your family. She's a tough little girl, she has beaten this before and you have to keep believing that she will successfully beat this again.
